Twenty six
I am the definition of a dork. I like to do things that most people find really dull or mindless. For some reason, doing the simplest things excite me…oh shiny..see! I’m fun loving and free spirited. I rarely drink, I don’t smoke, and I don’t do any type of drugs. I’m actually a huge slob. I can’t keep my room clean for the life of me. I can’t cook either. Really, I can’t. It’s pretty sad. I love to drive long distances. Road trips are so much fun to me. I am the freest when I listen to music. I love it all, from Big Band Swing to AC/DC. From the greats like Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald to 80’s hair bands like Styx. It’s hard to describe my passion for music because I’m not really involved in it. I can’t play an instrument, nor can I carry a tune (I try, but it doesn’t work out so well.) I always felt I was born in the wrong decade. I would have been a poodle-skirt-wearin’, sock-hop-lovin’’, malt-shop gal in the 50’s or a Woodstock and incense-burnin’ hippie in the 60’s and 70’s. I’m not one to follow trends. I like to keeps things simple and classic in my life and I don’t jump on the next bandwagon because every one else around is telling me I should. I wish I was more crafty.
